Data Controller

The data controller responsible for processing data on this website is seatbase Technologies GmbH, Starterzentrum, Geb. A1.1, Campus, 66123 Saarbrücken, Germany. Email: contact@seatbase.io. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as the requirements of § 38 BDSG (generally, at least 20 people regularly involved in the automated processing of personal data) are not met.

Your Rights Regarding Your Data

You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given your consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. You also have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data under certain circumstances, as well as a right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). On grounds relating to your particular situation, you also have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data (Art. 21 GDPR). Furthermore, you have a right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority.

Hosting with Hetzner

We host our website with Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany (hereinafter: Hetzner). The collection of data by the host is based on our legitimate interest in the secure and fast provision of our online services by a professional provider (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are: browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request, and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. These log files are deleted automatically, generally no later than after 7 days, unless retention is required to investigate a specific security incident.

Contact Form and Early Access Registration

If you send us inquiries via a form (e.g. the contact form), we process the details you provide (name, work email address, optionally phone number, use case, and message) to process your inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries we receive). We use the service provider Web3Forms (Web3Creative, India) as a processor to technically handle the form; we have a data processing agreement with Web3Forms under Art. 28 GDPR, which incorporates the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for the transfer of data to India. Web3Forms engages further sub-processors for spam and abuse prevention, which process your IP address and email address to screen submissions (including providers located in the EU, the USA, and India); an up-to-date list of sub-processors is available from us on request. Your form data is automatically deleted after no more than three years. We do not pass on your data to third parties for advertising purposes without your consent.

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses so-called cookies — text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to, and stored on, a server operated by Google LLC in the USA. This transfer to the USA is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is certified. User data stored in Google Analytics is automatically deleted after 2 months in line with our data retention setting. No marketing or advertising cookies are currently active; the "Marketing" category in our cookie settings is provided for the event that we activate such a service in the future (e.g. a provider of personalized advertising). If we do so, we will update this Privacy Policy in advance accordingly. The storage of Google Analytics cookies and the use of this analysis tool are based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

Leadfeeder (Dealfront) — Visitor Identification

On this website and on our Alesia product pages (getalesia.com), we use Leadfeeder, a service provided by Dealfront, to identify the companies visiting our website based on IP address and to see which pages were viewed, so our sales team can follow up with relevant businesses. Leadfeeder may use cookies or similar technologies to correlate page views within a visit. Your IP address and the pages you view are shared with Dealfront as our processor under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Dealfront may engage sub-processors located outside the EU/EEA; where this results in a transfer of personal data to a third country, it is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or another adequate safeguard under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR. This service is only loaded if you actively consent to the "Visitor Identification" category in the cookie settings; the legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25(1) TDDDG (German Telecommunications-Digital Services Data Protection Act). You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect via the cookie settings.
